i want to be the girl in the ballet shoes and vintage dress. i want to be as perfect as you think i am. i want to never make you sad. i want to prove to myself, one time, that i am worthy. i want to catch a falling feather and hold my breath on bridges. i want to be one of those girls, the ones who having rockinghorse dreams and are always dressed for summer.
i want to learn ballet and play the violin and sketch on everything i see. i want to have a secret code with my best friend and cry when she cries. i want to break my arm to see what it feels like. i want to not care what people think.
i want to live in paris and eat just macaroons for a week. i want to wear french knickers and camisoles to bed. i want to press flowers and have butterfly cutouts papering my bathroom.
